This carefully curated program of short canine-themed films is comprised of the most inspirational, heart-warming and entertaining stories about dogs and their human companions, from independent filmmakers around the globe. FILMS INCLUDE:

MARK & MYA: Mark and Mya are from Melbourne Australia and spent almost two years travelling around North America showing people that you can have a dog and a life of adventure and travel, at the same time! Together they have seen some of the world’s most incredible sights and shared many personal firsts. They hope inspire others and show them how to follow in their pawprints.

DOG DATE AFTERNOON: To date the girl of his dreams, a germaphobe must win over the most important loved one in her life… her dog. But he’ll soon learn that man’s best friend can become man’s worst enemy!

CODY – THE DOG DAYS ARE OVER: Adopting an animal into your life can be a life-changing experience. In this documentary, we meet Cody, an adopted Romanian street dog and his human companion. Sharing their example of how profound a human-animal bond can be, they aim to support shelters around the world, so that more dogs can find a loving home and receive a second chance.

MUTUAL RESCUE: MIKE & ABBIE: The rugged coast of northern California helps a despondent man and a shy shelter dog discover pure joy together through surfing. “I would never have known my full potential if I hadn’t helped a shelter dog find hers first.” —Michael Uy

PAWS & WHEELS II: Discover the story of Oli and his super-dog Balu. We’ll learn how they found each other, how Balu became the amazing traildog he is - and of course, the story about their special friendship. In this film, we follow Oli and Balu on their latest roadtrip, in the Sunlight Adventure Van, to the dolomites.

DR DOG: We all know that dogs have a special healing powers, but dogs have recently graduated from a companion to help you feel better, to now playing an active role in healing and healthcare. Dr Dog introduces you to some very special dogs who are making incredible contributions in the medial field. Travelling to New Zealand to meet the K9 detection dogs who are specially trained to sniff out signs of Bowel Cancer, to Vancouver in Canada to meet a very special diabetes detection dog, to Sydney, Australia to discover the animal blood bank and those very good dogs who are donating their blood to save their fellow four legged friends.
