Born out of a desire to showcase the strong, inspirational, adventurous women of the outdoor world, the Gutsy Girls Adventure Film Tour presents a carefully curated selection of short films that will entertain, enthral and enlighten.

DIANA 5 minutes Australia. A film by Adam Anthony From Uganda’s most dangerous slum to Olympic qualification, Diana was excluded by her own Government from two Olympic games because of her gender. Bullied and desperate, Diana turned to the Rhino Boxing Club and transformed herself into the only professional female boxer in Uganda. On behalf of a new generation of female boxers she is on a mission to see the first woman represent her country at the Olympics.
DIVIDED 39 minutes, Scotland Follow Lee Craigie and Rickie Cotter on the Tour Divide, a 4417km self-supported mountain bike race from Canada to the Mexican border. It is a raw and real portrayal of the places we go emotionally when under extreme duress while riding 190 kilometres a day.

The Canberra local isn’t your average female adventure enthusiast, she is passionate about trying new sports, pushing the boundaries and overcoming obstacles. Her diminutive stature doesn’t suit a lot of outdoor equipment so she customises her own. With a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, she’s taken on the challenge of building a lot of her own sporting equipment, including a fibreglass kayak. The aptly named short film Mel showcases both her skill and her stoke.
